The quaint small houses in the blocks around Kvarntorget (Mill Square) were built in the 1800s in what were once the poor neighbourhoods of Landskrona. Now these same houses are part of the living cultural history of the city.
Nestled among these historic small homes in the Mill Square area, up on what is known as Kvarnberget (Mill mount) in the middle of Landskrona, you will find the beautifully preserved, red post windmill - Stubbmölla. The mill was built in 1737; we know this because the year was carved into one of the inner beams. The name Wetterlin belongs to the mill as one of its owners, as the likely source of its Swedish - Vetterlindska möllan.
